Natalie Tatum

Natalie Tatum is a young artist from Denver, Colorado. She is trying to make her dreams come true, get signed to a record label and release an album.
By the moment, Ms. Tatum is quite unknown, but I think she is talented and that's why I decided to share her music with you all.
Easy Breazy is probably the best song from her -as far as I know-. Maybe it is the jazzy touch, I don't know, but I like it a lot. You can listen to it on her myspace page or you can take a listen below:

Come and get Eli 'Paperboy' Reed

It's been two years since Eli 'Paperboy' Reed and his band The True Loves released their fantastic album Roll With You. If you are a fan of them -like myself- then you will be glad to hear the news:

We've been in the studio rehearsing and getting ready to record our new album! You can look forward to a new record on our new label in the fall! The band and I are super excited about the new songs and we really think this record is going to be a step in a good direction

Well, their new single is finally here. It's called (If You Want The Love Of a Man) Come And Get It. This retro joint is very catchy and I'm sure you will love it as much as I do. Go Eli!

Szjerdene's collage

Szjerdene, in her own words, is a product of the past. This singer songwriter has frosaken the commercial r&b (crunk and all sh*ts some 'urban' stars keep on singing) in favour of her love of old school sounds, specially jazz and soul.
The 21-year-old is working on her debut EP, named Tailored. Untill it is finished, we can download for free (and legally) this demo: Collage. It contains three songs -Safe, Drifting and Blue Lullaby-. Listen to the last one here:

Saved by Marcell & The Truth

Marcell & The Truth is a band from US. The members say that their music is not for everyone, just for grown folks:

Pop music encourages you to stay young and that’s cool. But our music R&B/Soul believes that there is nothing sexier than growing up. Maturity built by in love so majestic to us.

They are releasing a second album called Symbols and it is about dreams, about beauty, about facing the truth and learning from it. It's made specially for the ones who build a long-term relationship, love each other deeply and laugh every chance they get.
One of the songs that will be included in their sophomore album is called You Save Me. It is one beautiful ballad, of my favourites from them so I hope you enjoy this joint.

Better with Angela Johnson

Better is a new song that New Jersey-base Angela Johnson had released not too long ago. It will be included in her new album, It’s Personal. This track brings the funk back, it's an up-tempo love song. I'm sure you will love this.

Boyz II Men are beggin'

Boyz II Men had released their album Love last year. The songs were covers of classic joints, but now it's 2010 and it seems they are putting out some new music. Beggin' (Down On My Knees) has hit the net a few days ago. This piano driven ballad is not bad at all. Check it below:

Keke Wyatt is back!

After all the drama that surrounded her life (she had a domestic dispute with her husband and manager in which she took a knife to his throat during Christmas of 2002), Keke Wyatt is finally back. At least, that's what she says via her myspace:

Hi everyone!! I am so excited to finally be back! Well I never left...but I'm coming back with a brand new music release in February 2010. 2/23 to be exact. I have a holiday single now that is called Who Knew?

Her sophomore album had suffered from several pushbacks over the years. She is now singed to Shanachie Records, home to another talented sista, Leela James, so let's hope her luck changes.
